Why a blog, and what are we going to do with this blog? The first part is easier than the second.

Through a series of events and coincidences we discovered this adorable little stone cottage on the top of the hill. And the coincidences continued right up to signing our names on the lines with the realtor and title company that made it ours.

As word got out that we were the new proud owners several people told us they wanted to see what we were doing, with the place. That process may take a while, and the journey is usually more interesting than the destination. So we decided to create this blog and take anyone who’s interested along for the ride.

The second part, what are we going to do with the blog? We are going to share our progress, our discoveries, and some of our woes; the journey. Yes woes, this isn’t our first older home, we’ve learned that fixing anything has the potential to blossom into multiple projects.

So buckle up, I’m not promising a fast ride, but it should prove to be an adventure.
